Barack Obama said after meeting with Donald Trump who had an "excellent" conversation on domestic and international policy and reiterated that his priority is to make a smooth transition.
"If Trump is successful, it will be good for America," he added.
Meanwhile, Trump said he had great respect for the president and was looking forward to working with him in the future and seek their advice.
