The Syrian Regime Sent Its Elite Troops To Complete The Conquest Of Aleppo East

With its conquests in the east of the city of Aleppo, the Syrian regime has dispatched hundreds of elite soldiers to accelerate the fall of the rebel stronghold.


The Syrian regime intends to push its advantage in Aleppo. It has deployed hundreds of elite soldiers of the Republican Guard and the 4th Division in the most populated districts of Aleppo East, said on Thursday the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (OSDH) . Russia provides humanitarian corridors

Moscow, an ally of Assad, has proposed establishing four humanitarian corridors to allow civilians to evacuate the affected areas. Divided since 2012 between a western sector held by the regime and neighbourhoods is controlled by the rebels, Aleppo has become the main front of the Syrian conflict. Aleppo-East recently still had 250,000 inhabitants, but according to the OSDH, more than 50,000 of them have fled in recent days that area that the military regime besieged for four months.
