England - Hull: Coach Marco Silva Resigns

Hull coach Marco Silva resigned on Thursday after his club relegated to the second division at the end of the season.

The 39-year-old Portuguese, a childhood friend of Jose Mourinho, arrived in January to help the Yorkshire club stay in the elite of British football.
"It was proposed to Marco to stay to continue the work he has been doing for four and a half months at KC Stadium," the club said in a statement.
"Unfortunately, he chose to leave the club to pursue his career elsewhere," Hull said in the statement.
The club also announced that he was looking for a replacement.
