| The former CIA boss, John Brennan, during his hearing before the US Congress, Tuesday, May 23, 2017 |
Time magazine reveals that it is an intercepted conversation between two Russian agents, claiming to be prepared to provoke chaos in the US presidential election that first brought the chip to the attention of the American intelligence services. It was just a year ago, and since then, the suspicions have only strengthened. CIA boss John Brennan said on Tuesday that he had called on his counterpart in Moscow in August to denounce such methods.
"Contacts and Interactions"
Russian interference no longer seems to be in doubt, the big question now is whether President Trump or at least his entourage, compromised. " I was confronted with information and intelligence revealing contacts and interactions between Russian officials and Americans involved in Trump's campaign, which worried me because of Russia's proven efforts to bribe individuals, "Said Brennan.
He was concerned that Moscow had been able to obtain certain cooperation, indicating that it could also be manipulated or used without necessarily being aware of it. And if he assures today not to know the truth, he, therefore, finds the investigation of the FBI totally justified. Also heard Tuesday, Dan Coats, head of the US intelligence, was less discerning. But if he refused to comment on the information that Trump asked him to curb the investigation, he did nothing to defend the US president.
