Amon Tanoh Withdraws Candidacy In Parliamentary

Minister Marcel Amon Tanoh, Director of Cabinet of the President of the Republic, His Excellency Alassane Ouattara, decided to withdraw his candidacy in the elections of 18th December in the electoral district of Aboisso, '' wrote in a statement sent to APA, Deputy Secretary General of the RDR, in charge of Communication and Spokesperson, Joel N'Guessan.


'' Congratulations Minister. You prove by this decision and this act of greatness that you are a man of duty. A man who can sacrifice his personal interest to assert the community's interest, '' he said, hoping that '' this spirit is best shared within our alliance RHDP (Rally of Houphouetists for democracy and peace) ''.

the withdrawal of Mr. Amon Tanoh comes as activists RHDP, '' growl '' against the candidacy of some cadres of the ruling coalition that does not need to be members with regard to their status and rank in the administration.

the nomination of candidates for elections on 18 December ended Thursday in accordance with the timetable of the independent electoral Commission (IEC).
