Iraqi special forces of terrorism-cons of Service met on Friday with strong resistance from the organization Islamic state after penetrating more in Mosul.

Intensified US strikes
The air strikes of the international coalition led by the United States have intensified in the past two days to prepare the advance of government troops in the city, taken by EI in June 2014.The CTS and other army units had crossed the administrative border of Mosul earlier this week but had maintained their positions outside built-up areas.
On Thursday, the head of EI, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, called his men to take the city . According to US estimates, some 3000 to 5000 jihadists are entrenched in Mosul, where more than a million civilians are trapped.
