Bombings On A Rebel Region Near Damascus, 19 Dead


At least 19 civilians, including six children, were killed on Tuesday in heavy aerial bombardments in several parts of the eastern Ghouta, a rebel area near Damascus, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (OSDH) said.

This provisional assessment brings to 49 the number of civilians killed in two days of air strikes on the eastern Ghouta, an insurgent stronghold located to the east of the Syrian capital.
