The Crisis In The Gulf Worries Moscow

Five days after diplomatic ties between Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Yemen and Egypt, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, head of the Qatari diplomacy, was in Moscow on Saturday to meet his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov. Moscow said it was ready to act to try to bring down the tension in the region.

Macron-Putin: "Frank And Direct" Dialogue On Syria And Ukraine

The Russian president was received on 29 May in Versailles to inaugurate an exhibition on the 300 years of Franco-Russian relations. Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron met face-to-face before sharing a working lunch. At the joint press conference they gave, the French president wanted to play on two strings: dialogue and demand, as he had promised before the meeting.

The Washington Post reports that Donald Trump revealed information classified secret defense to his Russian interlocutors last week. The President of the United States received Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, accompanied by Ambassador Kislyak and several collaborators in the oval office, following the dismissal of FBI Director James Comey.
