USA: In Detroit, Hillary Clinton Reiterates Call For Mobilization

In the US, this is the final stretch for the two candidates in the presidential election of 8 November. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton multiply movement, particularly in key states, the "swing states" that could tip the balance in their favor. Friday, November 4, after going in Pennsylvania and before traveling to Cleveland, Ohio, the Democratic contender held a rally in Detroit, Michigan.
This industrial area particularly hard hit by the 2008 crisis, and had to bankruptcy in 2013 while the unemployment rate reached 30% is not part of those States to challenge, but the abstention could play a trick on the candidate.
It's in an old market located in the Midtown neighborhood, near the business center that Hillary Clinton came to meet his Michigan voters for the last time. The Democratic candidate spoke for over half an hour before an enthusiastic crowd, but now fears the result of the presidential election.

Former Secretary was keen to stress its commitment to this city where 18% of the population is still looking for a job. "  I want to be a strong partner of Detroit and other cities that are trying to turn the corner in order to be sure you will get the investment and assistance in housing and job creation you need. But we must also make our economy fairer. This is why I believe we should increase the minimum wage, because people who work full time should not remain in poverty  , "she insisted.

The minimum wage increase was the credo of Bernie Sanders , his opponent in the Democratic primary, which was taxed in that State. Hillary Clinton sought to seduce one last time this electorate. It should be noted that according to surveys, the abstention rate could be very high. "  Michigan can make the difference. So all I ask you is to talk to your friends, your family, your colleagues, talk with everyone  , "she encouraged.

Gather rather than divide

The Democratic candidate also detailed the three pillars of the policy it wishes to pursue if elected. "  We have three great challenges. First, we must make the economy for everyone, not just the privileged. Second, we must protect our nation and we must work with our allies to lead the world with the strength and reason to peace and prosperity. And third, we must gather our nation again. We must overcome its divisions, we must treat our country. And I hope you will help me to meet these challenges. I have said repeatedly face discrimination and fanaticism. We can consider as normal what we are witnessing in our country because of the Donald Trump campaign. A church in Mississippi was burned this week. Someone had painted on one side "Vote Trump" before fire him. We can not let this kind of thing happen , "she recalled.

After this short passage by the city, which was considered the capital of the car before its economic decline, Hillary Clinton flew to Cleveland, Ohio. A more hostile terrain for the Democratic candidate Donald Trump since his favorite opponent remains in the state considered crucial to win the presidential election.
